Shortly after starting the MOMI PC Client, a error message may display:
Unable to Register the CAIL Emulator...
Windows Vista, Windows 7 and certain corporate PC security configuration may prevent a Windows program from registering to the operating system the CAIL emulator.
To correct the problem, logon to the PC as an Administrator and then start the MOMI PC Client. It is not necessary to connect the client to a NonStop Server. During the start up of the MOMI PC Client it will register to Windows the CAIL emulator. This procedure need only be done once per MOMI PC Client version (i.e. in other words when a new client release is installed).
To work-around the problem, add to the short-cut used to start MOMI PC Client the run-time parameter of NOCAIL. Note that the CAIL emulator will not be available when this parameter is specified.
